Her first book, Inheriting The Holy Land (Ballantine, 2005), won Moment Magazine's Non-Fiction Award for Young Writers. Miller's journalism has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post Magazine, the Christian Science Monitor, Fast Company, and the Daily Beast. A native of Washington, DC, she now lives in Brooklyn, NY with all the other writers and teaches writing at Columbia University.
